We are based out of St. John's, and proud to serve the entire Avalon Peninsula. With equipment ideally sized for parking lots and roads, Mercers can handle any work, no matter the size. Ever notice a neighbours driveway cracking apart, and rocks coming through after just a couple of years? This is mostly due to whichever contractor paved it, and the method taken to prepare the driveway. Lack of digging surface of driveway and minimal placement of class A road gravel will result in a poor job every time.

With Mercers, you can be confident that you are getting the best job possible as care is taken every step of the way. We start by digging off the surface of the drivway, removing rocks, unsuitable material, ect. We then place a minimum of 6" of Class A road gravel, and then compact it until it cannot be compacted anymore. On top of this we place our hot mix asphalt, usually 2.5", or as chosen by the customer.
